Hello Co-Psychometrician na magpaparegister bukas at sa Friday, i-share ko lang ang aking experince kanina sa PRC.
Bago po kayo pumunta sa PRC i-check niyo na po ang mga kailangang gamit.
1. Duly Accomplished Oath (Kanina po bago ako pumunta nagdownload na po ako at nag print ng Oath. Nag search lang ako sa google para makita ko agad yung dinadownload na Oath. )
2. Kailangan ng Passport Size na picture in white back ground with complete name tag. (3 piraso ang nagamit ko, isa sa oath, isa sa ipapasa sa PRC, at yung isa ginamit ko dahil pinalitan ko yung picture ko sa Registration Record Card- siyempre mas maganda yung ipinalit ko. Hehehe)
3. Kailangan ng short brown envelop (susulatan ng buong pangalan at ng profession sa may Right corner.
4. Importante po may Cedula
5. Dalawang Document stamp na mabibili na sa PRC pag kapasok pa lang sa entrance, eto yung una kong ginawa. Tapos nag proceed na ako sa Window 12, Then sa Cashier na ang next.
6. Pera na pambayad Php 1050. 00. (Importanteng may pamaypay at may tubig sa pagbabayad sa may cashier kasi labas po ito, mainit at hindi airconditioned, pag nasaktohan po talag ng pila na mahaba talagang tiyaga tiyaga lang sa pag pila ang kailangan.
7. May isusulat sa likod ng registration record card. (Yung mga detalye makikita sa resibo, pagkabayad sa Cashier)
8. Ilagay sa window 8 ang Registration record Card na may sulat na sa likod. Antayin na tawagin ng PRC officer. Papapilahin na kayo at papaupuin sa paikot na upuan.
9. Pagkatawag sa inyo ng officer may kasama na siyang papel na iaabot sa inyo, Yun ang Proffesional's Registry Sheet. (At last makikita niyo na din dun ang License number kiki emoticon. Take note, kailangan pong pirmahan iyon, magdala po tayo ng ballpen o kaya ng signpen).
10. Mag aantay na lang po kayo hanggang mapunta kayo sa unahan at antayin ang inyong Turn, i-prepresent po sa window 9 or 10 or 11, depende kung saan kayo tumapat na window. Ipapakita duon at rereviewhin ng PRC officer ang mga sumusunod na papeles:
10.1 Sa loob ng short brown envelop ang dapat na nakapasok lang dun ay ang Isang passport size na picture at isang document stamp
10.2 Registration Record Card
10.3 Professional's Registry Sheet
10.4 Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
10.5 at ang Official Reciept
Kapag ayos na lahat ng papeles, antayin na lang ang gugupitin at ibibigay sa inyo na claim slip na galing sa Panunumpa ng Propesyonal. may ibibigay ang PRC na Officer na maliit na papel, Announcement o information iyon para sa Oath taking, ticket, dress code, venue and date.
Bongga after niyan, bibili na ng ticket. May nakapag sabi sa akin na sa Friday pa daw pwedeng bumili ng ticket, Php 1,000 hanggang September 1. Tapos pag September 2 to 4 ay Php 1,200; at Php 1,500 pag September 5 to 9 bumili ng ticket. ( Sana makabili ako ng ticket kaagad para mas mura, hehehe)

Sharing of Bert Bigay Bandong re PRCManila Registration
Kattapos k lng po kaninang umaga. 7:30 pwd n po pumila sa bilihan ng stamps. Mahaba pila po doon kc halo2 ung aplikante n bbili. Then pagbili nyo ng 2 stamps bbgyan kayo ng form (oath form) fill up-an nyo po, llgyan ng (1) stamp and 1 passport size pic. Next pila po kau windows 12 for verification, dun nyo po ipresent ung form. Once ok, bbgy ulit sa inyo un together with d registration card na prinocess ntn nung nag apply tau for exam, makikita nyo n rn rating nyo dun. Ddrtso kau sa cashier for d payment, P1050.00 bbyaran. After d payment, drtso ulit sa windows 8, u'll receive a Registry Sheet, pipirmahan nyo po un at ttwagin kau ng staff from windows 7 to submt the registry sheet and brown envelope(with name, profession, and license number- u'll see ur license # on the registry sheet). Dun nyo po ilalagay ung 1remaining stamp and passport-size picture sa brown envelope. Finally, u'll receive the claim stub and small piece of paper that provides the place where u can buy tickets for d oath taking. Lahat po ng process ay sa Ground floor lang. Mas kaunti cguro tao pg afternoon. It took 2 1/2 hrs for me to finish the process. *morning po ako nag process and sa unang araw ng registration. smile emoticon


2. "pag katapos ma accomplish ng oath form with passport size id pic and 1 docu stamp - diretso pasa sa main building window 12, ground floor, main building. right side, ipasok sa short brown envelope ang isang docu stamp .. hintayin matawag ang name ... then, after makuha yung oath form and application card (yung card na sinulatan simula pa nung application sa exam na may thumb mark at passport size picture), fill-up ung nasa likod application card (may instruction dun sa window 8 - dun parin sa main builidng, right side parin, gound floor), next bayad 1050php (initial reg:600, annual fee:450) - dalawang window pwede pag bayaran, sa labas at sa loob.. after mag bayad, diretso sa window 8, ihulog ang application card sa box na nasa window 8 - at hintayin matawag ang pangalan ... pag natawag na, ibibigay ulit and reg form at ung application card, ihanda ang mga sumusunod: short brown envelope (with Complete name, Profession, registration number na makikita sa reg form) docu stamp, passport size id pic, at yung oath form (may instruction parin dun sa window 9/8) ... then pumila ng maayos, at ibibigay sa window 8/9 ang mga ito ... waiting lang kayo sa window until ibigay sa inyo ang claim slip, na may naka staple na maliit na paper kung saan maaaring makabili ng ticket .. okay, after that, pwede na kayong umuwi/bumili ng ticket (di ko alam kung mag kano ticket)"

NOW FINAL: Davao Not a Test Center for 2014 Psychometrician Licensure Exam

Message from Dr. Cue:

It's final Davao is not a test center for either the Psychologist or Psychometrician board exams this year. Dir Liamzon made an appeal, but the Commission did not and could not approve the request due to technical considerations which could not be compromised. Our apologies...

Yesterday we receive the good news that Davao will be a testing center for the 2014 Psychometrician Licensure Exam. We were so glad and congratulated test takers from Davao. We also message Dr. Cue thanking her for granting such request. But unfortunately, we got the above reply of Dr. Cue to our message. 

With the changes at PRC it seem that such request remains hanging after former Chair Manzala left PRC. So with the Acting Chair not supportive of the move and with just few days remaining before the exam,  we hope that Davao test takers can get a concrete and final answer the soonest possible time.

This is an infographics of the application experiences shared to us by two of our blog readers and FB likers here and here:

1) Secure all requirements

2) Proceed to 3rd Floor PRC Building (purchase first a documentary stamp for step 8)

3) Submit Photo for scanning

4) Submit documents for assessment of requirements, you will be given the Permanent Examination Card and Registration Record Card fill it out while waiting for your name to be called.

5) Pay  documentary stamp (PhP63.00)/ you can purchase ahead from post office and other government offices/city/provincial halls, etc. worth 25 pesos only)

6) When called you will be given form your application form together with the rest of your submitted requirements.

7) Pay application fee (PhP 900.00) to the cashier.

8) Place documentary stamp on the application form and  right thumbmark on both forms (application form and the permanent examination card and registration record card).

9) Submit to the NOA counter and you will receive your NOA (Notice of Admission) form to bring home.

For those in Manila, to be first at the queue - you have to be at NBI UN/Taft at 4AM, as suggested by Riyan. The line is several meters long already by then. Everyone will be asked to enter the gate by 4:30 AM and stay first at the holding areas, walk-in, online, men and women segregated. But if you have an online application then you will not have to join the long queue and will proceed directly for payment and then the biometrics (foto and finger prints). Then wait for printing. It can take just 30 minutes provided you go early at 4AM, but NBI only start accepting payment at 6AM. 


Cheaper Notary Services

If you are looking for a cheaper notary services then by all means visit Mr. Numer C. Posecion. I learned that most of his customers would travel from PRC to Ermita to avail his services. He only charge 50.00 pesos per single document (e.g. good moral character) unlike notary services at PRC they charge 150.00 per single document.

Steps in Filing Application for Psychometrician Licensure Exam at PRC Manila

Maraming salamat kay Riyan for sharing her experience of filing her application for the Psychometrician Licensure Exam at the PRC- Manila.

Sa paglalakad pa lang ng mga requirements 

para na rin tayong sinasala.

Nagstart ako sa paglalakbay ko after ko gawin yung online sa Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

(Sundin niyo lang po yung online submission sa PRC sa blog na ‘to. :)  )

Sinunod ko lang yung mga nakalista na requirements. Ang aga ko nga nilakad yung mga yun. Mabuti na lang last year nagstart na ako maglakad kasi mga 2 months ako pabalik-balik sa requirements siguro kasi hindi ako ganoon kaswerte sa pag-aayos. Pero sa iba naman nadalian lang sila kaya wag mawalan ng pag-asa! :) 

Nahirapan ako maglakad ng NBI clearance kasi sa mga satellite nila mahaaaabaaaa talaga yung pila (parang audition talaga ng pag-aartista). Mabuti na lang, nakakita ako ng mga blogs para mapabilis yung paglalakad ng NBI at makaiwas hassle. Sa main ako nagpunta, to be particular sa Taft/UN Avenue. Pero make sure na nagonline kayo, nagfill-up  dito:

Kailangan i-print niyo rin yung finill-up sa online ng NBI, may mga paraan naman po para masave sa pdf file. Kapag nagawa niyo na yan, pwede na kayo magpunta kinabukasan sa main (sa Taft). Maganda ang online kasi priority sa main yun, biruin mo STEP 3 ka na kapag online ka? Yung step 3 deretso bayad na yun sa cashier (115.00 pesos po ang bayad). Sa experience ko maiksi lang ang pila kanina. 4:30 ng umaga umalis na ako sa bahay. Mga 5:15 nandoon na ako. 6:30 nasa kamay ko na yung clearance. Mabilis di ba? Kapag sa ibang branch kayo grabe 2:30 AM dapat nakapila na kayo tapos ang bukas ng mall mga 10 AM. Sinumpa ko yang experience na yan noon. Kaya try niyo sa main na lang saka isa pa ANG BABAIT ng mga nasa MAIN ng NBI saka MABILIS. Hinding-hindi ka maliligaw kasi ang laki ng karatula. :) 

After ko sa NBI, deretso agad ako ng PRC. Malakas loob ko dumeretso ng PRC kasi complete naman yung requirements ko saka nagonline na rin ako sa website nila.

Para po sa mga PUPian na tulad ko, hindi tinanggap yung CAV (basta po yung related sa Special Order sa TOR na ginastusan ko tapos hindi naman pala tatanggapin :) ) kasi po State University daw po tayo at understood daw po na hindi nagrerelease ang PUP ng SO sa TOR. Saka nagpagawa po pala ako ng TOR na may remarks ng “For Board Examination Purposes Only” sa PUP Main Campus na nagkakahalaga ng 350.00 pesos. Isang buwan bago makuha sa South Wing ng Building natin. 

Balik po sa PRC, mga 8 AM pwede ka na agad makapasok sa building. Maaga din kayo dapat para iwas sa hassle. Ang konti namin kanina sa 3rd floor para magprocess ng requirements. 

Step 1 maghuhulog lang ng passport picture. (nameplate po sya pwdeng sa computer lang po nilagyan ng full name kc puro ganun po ung pinapasa saka may sample sa prc website dn po) 

Step 2 Assessment ng requirements. May babayaran kang 63 pesos doon kasi may ididikit silang stamp sa papers mo tapos ibibigay sayo itong Permanent Examination Card and Registration Record Card na dapat mong sagutan (yung glue saka pang thumbmark nasa likod lang ng table, makikita niyo yun):

Hintayin lang matawag yung pangalan mo para ibigay yung printed na application mo kasama na din nung sinagutan mo. 

Step 3 Magbabayad ka sa cashier doon din mismo sa 3rd floor. (Don’t worry tabi-tabi naman sila at makikita mo agad). 

Step 4 irerelease na yung NOA (Notice of Admission) sa katabi lang din kung saan ka nagbayad. PERO bago marelease yung NOA mo, make sure na pumunta ka sa baba para bumili ng Documentary Stamp (may window doon malapit din sa entrance at 21 pesos lang po yun, ididikit yun sa document na binigay sayo sa step 2). After malagay yung document stamp, ibigay mo na sa releasing yung mga papel na hawak mo (dapat may right thumb mark mo yung document, pirma, etc).  Ibibigay din sa’yo yung NOA (Notice of Admission) tapos pwede ka ng umuwi. Hihintayin mo yung announcement 2 days before the exam kung saan room ka magtatake. :)
